Project Hermes is a rapidly growing seller of home storage solutions and bag organisers. Its primary route to market is through global TV Shopping Channels where recent TV Sales days have seen sales often in excess of $1m/day, typically around calendar holiday dates such as Christmas and the New Year.

The opportunity available to an acquirer is to significantly increase the level of sales through current shopping channels, along with online and wholesale growth opportunities, delivering highly attractive levels of EBITDA. Hermes delivers an EBITDA margin of c30%.


  • As one of the UK’s leading importers in its product range, the team at Project Hermes strive to consistently exceed their client’s expectations through constant product innovation and design. 
  • Delivering an exemplary service is paramount to the Company’s success. 
  • Project Hermes sales revenue is generated through three main categories being TV Shopping channels, Online sales via its website and lastly through a number of wholesalers it trades with. 
  • c80% of total sales are made through TV Shopping Channels in USA and Europe. C10% of sale are earned through the website with a similar proportion being made through a number of UK wholesalers. 
  • The US TV Shopping channel is the Company’s largest single route to market for Hermes and accounts for c75% of annual revenues. 
  • The opportunity to increase sale volumes in the USA is very significant. Its main American customer regularly request that Hermes doubles, if not more, volumes with it demonstrating their huge confidence in both Hermes and its impressive product range. 
  • All product is manufactured in the Far East with over 90% being delivered direct to Hermes global client base which eases UK operations significantly. 
  • The Company’s principal shareholder and Managing Director is keen to remain with the Company going forward and to work with an acquirer to deliver further growth.

  • The Company’s past two years Profit & Loss account illustrates sales growing from £5.6m to £6.5m and EBITDA increasing from £1m to £1.8m in FY20.
  • FY21 has continued to deliver growth in sales with an outturn for the year of £6.25m forecast. Margins improvements have been implemented with commission payment terms with key partners renegotiate to improve profitability at Hermes during FY22 and beyond.
