to expand its existing direct to consumer (D2C) digital services offering.
Ideally, businesses should have the following characteristics:
Service/product offering: Companies that provide labels &/or name badges on a direct to consumer (D2C) basis. A digital service, with online web-based orders taken direct to print and dispatch.
Customer focus: Distinct Verticals – but ideally not for office related products. So, for example, labels or name badges for personal possessions (children’s market/elderly); food; healthcare related; other.
Financials: Turnover likely to be in the range of at least £1.5m up to say £20m. Profitable business preferred (with say a 15% net return on sales); and with a sound balance sheet. Less financially robust companies, but with relevant good operational potential may be considered.
Scalability: Ideally offers realistic growth potential with scope for extension of product or service range or expanding market opportunities.
continuity: Ideally the current
owners who have operational involvement should be willing to remain for at least
a two-year integration period; but where there is a strong second tier
management a shorter owner manager retention period may be possible.
