This company has been successfully trading for over 11 years and is run by the Sole Director as a lifestyle business. It is a well-known centre in its field with a reputation for delivering high-quality life-changing retreats in a luxury, natural setting. The Retreats have 100% occupancy with a long waiting list and historically bookings are made months in advance.

It trades under a UK limited company (trading was established in December 2010) and it specialises in Ayurveda and Yoga retreats. Guests have the option of booking a massage, a Day Spa or up to a 6-day retreat.

The centre has a highly experienced and dedicated team of staff, most of whom have been with the company for many years.

Guests are predominantly from the UK but also Europe and Worldwide. The Malvern train station is a 10-minute drive with direct services to London, Birmingham and Bristol.

The company is unique in its offering and therefore there aren’t any direct competitors existing in the UK. The business model could be expanded with ease and/or franchised.

The business opened in spring 2013 after an extensive renovation programme to bring a 19th century water mill up to commercial property standards, together with a 3-bed cottage, various outbuildings and six new-build eco-lodges, all supplied with hot water and space heating from a biomass boiler with a highly insulated underground district heating system. Water is supplied via a 50m deep bore hole and sewage is handled by an aerobic digester.

Since the summer of 2014 all retreats have been fully booked with 100% occupancy.

There is considerable opportunity to increase the number of retreat days per year, increase accommodation and tap into the more lucrative corporate market.

The property (also included) with its 11 acres grounds, is all owned by the director to whom the company pays a monthly rent.
