Williams & Partners has been engaged by the Company to offer for sale, out of administration, the business and assets of an established vehicle recovery operator based in the North of England. The business continues to trade and is expected to do so up to finalisation of the transaction.
The Company provides vehicle recovery and roadside assistance services for private motorists and light commercial vehicles. It operates from leased premises incorporating vehicle storage and workshop facilities and employs an experienced team of qualified recovery drivers and operational staff. The business has established relationships with motoring organisations and accident management providers. Certain customer contracts may require consent, novation or renegotiation following any sale or change of ownership.
The business operates a fleet of specialist recovery vehicles, the majority of which are subject to finance agreements. The fleet is of an older profile and will require investment and renewal. If the current fleet is required, a purchaser will be expected to settle or novate the relevant finance facilities, subject to lender agreement, together with acquiring the goodwill and operational assets of the business.
